Why can’t they make another NFS game like Most Wanted? It was perfect! What happened to the police chases in the new NFS games CARBON and PROSTREET? What happened to FREE ROAM?
Need For Speed (NFS) is a series of racing video games by Electronic Arts, released on platforms including the personal computer, PlayStation, PS2, PS3, GameCube, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Portable, and various other gaming platforms. The games consist mainly of racing with various cars on various tracks, and to some extent, include police pursuits in races. Since Need for Speed: Underground, the series has integrated car body customization into gameplay.

I agree 100% prettysleepy. Most Wanted was the best game of the series. Carbon is *ok*, but the map is smaller and the emphasis is off police chases, and the plot is not as interesting…it is just about getting territory…no blacklist to climb.
I couldn’t AGREE more!!! Most wanted had something Carbon was missing, Fun and when one hits the higher-end speeds the screen BLUR’s. The PS3 version was too smooth for Carbon.
In Most Wanted you could get a sense of being chased by the cops. In Carbon it feels kinda fake. Carbon is ok but I still play MOST WANTED. The design and having the BlackList was a plus. [Anyone know why free roam was taken away?]
Maybe the NFS series will release another Most wanted someday.

oops my bad. I meant NFS Pro Street. all the races are taken place on courses and tracks but it would be fun in between the races to create some chaos and maybe get a few coppers involved. Anyway hope to see a future release of another “MOST WANTED”.

The Xbox360 version looked insane! plus this is still my favorite Racer so far. BURNOUT PARADISE is a cool game. It needs cop chases but nothing like NFS MOST WANTED.

I will admit that NFS MOST WANTED was a little easy but it still had a super amount of hours of play. I’ve beat the game 3 times and have a couple of 100 hours in it.
the final boss was a challenge. I had to use the Porsche to beat him. Most of the events were easy but there was 2 for the final boss that the timing was tricky.
Even if some find the game too easy, you have factor in the games play: as good as a racer can get

I totally agree. I got a Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition. Black Edition means more cars, more tracks, and definitely, more notorious. I played Carbon and ProStreet, and compared them with my Most Wanted. Most Wanted is still more complete compared to the two. I don’t think EA will create another Most Wanted because they focus more on graphics now…
yeah – Carbon had great graphics but the “feel” through the controller was not there and the game needed more craziness when the nitro was engaged.
Poeple can pick-up a copy of NFS CARBON online New for only $20-25.00 I might buy it, but I miss Most Wanted.

MOST WANTED was the best NFS ever they will never make one better one of my favourite parts was the main car of the game The BMW M3 GTR it was just too cool of a car!! it was such a piss off what they did to it in carbon the said it got “totaled” (the stupid logs didnt even touch it) and then when u unlock it in the quik race they ripped off the stats of the car (mainly the top speeed) but i hope they put it back in the nexxt NFS with the same look and performence as in MOST WANTED.
Most wanted is for sure the best need for speed everything is great in the game.
carbon is alright too its fun but way less fun then most wanted.

underground 2 is much much better!!!! it has MUch more customization and many more race modes.even the graphics in U2 were better. try U2 . you guys will like. even it’s storyline makes sense unlike MW. overall, MW feels like a much older game.

Whats the use with all the customization .. when you play a racing game you get the adrenaline rush from what happens during the play (drive) mode … what’s the use if you have a torino in your garage all beefed up under the hood if you don’t have a driver’s license ?? the game play with all the cops is worth a lot more fun than tweaking engines in the hide outs – MW is THE best NFS game .. U2 is probably joint second with Carbon (it depends on your personal liking) .. but MW is the best out there
guys nfs most wanted is the best game i have ever played i have been playing nfs since childhood bt mw has really amazed me i have finished the game 9 times…………i hope ea games will release a game like this in future………….or re release the same game with a different plot……..

Hey Hey Hey !!!!! there is no need to push others. Just post the name of the game u think is the best. As till now Most WAnted is leading and it should be as it is really having the best gameplay. No doubt U2 was great and has some of its own specialities. I think the list goes like this….

Well,i’ve played all nfs games and i think every single game is separated from the other.personally i prefer nfs mw & i’ve finished it 10 times.but it’s not all.if u think of customization and true racing experience, pro street is the best.for graphics,definitely undercover.carbon isn’t good and mw is 100 times better than it.but in overall gameplay,graphics,enjoyment,no 1will beat mw.of course,the m3 gtr is the best car of nfs ever.

i think MW is the best version. i finished it twice. i love cops. the tracks r very good. in first time i finished the final boss with porsche cayman and i find very difficult. i finished him second time with lambhorghini gallardo. i think it was the best car of all the cars.

hi. my name is akshat. i am an awesome fan of nfs mw.i have completed mw 5 times with auto gear shift ,in one of the profile my stats is :game completion:100% and now i am completing it one more time by manual gear shift i am in blacklist 8 (jewels). but these days i am busy with undercover.and at last i wanna say that the nfs mw is the best game ever made.
i have played nfs undercover but after playing some races i get bored and uninstall it and instal mostwanted in place of it according to me nfs undercver only got graphics nothing fun or chalenging like mostwanted i will play burnout 3 takedown or burnout dominator in place of nfs undercover, nfs hotpursuit mostwanted 2010 i know that nfs hotpursuit mostwanted 2010 is not released yet but i had seen the trailer and pramosional game play of it after watching the trailer i think game is combination of nfs 2 se weather hotpursuit2 cop chasing with extra spik strips with high graphics and burnout series takedown of rivel cars and takedown of cops in nfs series it already exhist in nfs hotpursuit mostwanted 2010 only new thing is takedown of rivel cars which is of criterian games for burnout series and the other things in it like customizing,upgrading ,paint changing etc already seen in previous versions or previous games of nfs series nfs hotpursuit mostwanted 2010 is like burnout 3takedown or burnout dominator with cop chase and costamization and upgrading cars for more speed with new cars

NFS MW is the best, and always be until EA stops this “simulation” thing. We love street racing! We love Mia, and Razor (wonderful “vilain”) and we love when he says “Five Grand!”. The plot is wonderful, the races, the graphics (for the time), the songs.. the city! I really love this game, and until EA make a MW2, Most Wanted will be the best NFS to date.
i did not play many games….i played nfs mw,nfs carbon & nfs hotpursuit…but story of mostwanted just aswm…..hotpursuit & carbon r just like racing game…they have much more grapics…but there is no reality….i love mw….n with some upgrades lambhorghini gallardo is the best car of the game….i founnd it little difficult in completeting the last milestones…but the endind of the game is exelent….hope EA games will make a mw2 with much more grapics……accoding to me a game is much more interesting when there is a story behind the race………
You must of really lost your marbles if you think Most Wanted was perfect, honestly, yes a great game but not even perfect. Cars was very limited, didn’t like half the cars, one thing I liked about the cars was that you could go through the whole career without buying one or winning one off a blacklist racer. Absolutely hated the customization you could do with the cars, a set body kit and could only get 4?? or 2?? and in the Black Edition… NONE?!? Vinyl you could only put one stupid thing on their car, what is the point. I was only happy with the storyline and the gameplay itself, but once you finish it you got nowhere to go and it gets boring if you want to go over for a second time. I tried making the game more challenging but nope, still a piece of cake. Also, I was wondering where was the street racing unit?? I thought there was cars to look like street races to come and wipe you out during a cop chase?? Obviously that didn’t happen at all. Most Wanted is a one time only game, where it gets old. Then you have speedbreaker aswell?? I don’t mind it but honestly, isn’t the whole point of a car game to use every aspect of the car…?? Including brakes?? Since speed breaker was put in place you don’t need to break and I like using brakes to go around corners.
I’m sorry but High Stakes clearly takes the name of Best NFS Ever.
