The Best Need For Speed Game: MOST WANTED

Why can’t they make another NFS game like Most Wanted? It was perfect! What happened to the police chases in the new NFS games CARBON and PROSTREET? What happened to FREE ROAM?

Need For Speed (NFS) is a series of racing video games by Electronic Arts, released on platforms including the personal computer, PlayStation, PS2, PS3, GameCube, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Portable, and various other gaming platforms. The games consist mainly of racing with various cars on various tracks, and to some extent, include police pursuits in races. Since Need for Speed: Underground, the series has integrated car body customization into gameplay.

I agree 100% prettysleepy. Most Wanted was the best game of the series. Carbon is *ok*, but the map is smaller and the emphasis is off police chases, and the plot is not as interesting…it is just about getting territory…no blacklist to climb.

I couldn’t AGREE more!!! Most wanted had something Carbon was missing, Fun and when one hits the higher-end speeds the screen BLUR’s. The PS3 version was too smooth for Carbon.

In Most Wanted you could get a sense of being chased by the cops. In Carbon it feels kinda fake. Carbon is ok but I still play MOST WANTED. The design and having the BlackList was a plus. [Anyone know why free roam was taken away?]

Maybe the NFS series will release another Most wanted someday.

oops my bad. I meant NFS Pro Street. all the races are taken place on courses and tracks but it would be fun in between the races to create some chaos and maybe get a few coppers involved. Anyway hope to see a future release of another “MOST WANTED”.

hey… i LOVE MW!! i agree with you guys, especially for 4th comment! they should make NFS “GEAR UP” and do mix of MW and U1… with day/night change…

The Xbox360 version looked insane! plus this is still my favorite Racer so far. BURNOUT PARADISE is a cool game. It needs cop chases but nothing like NFS MOST WANTED.
[I was stuck playing the PS2 version. I'm having a hard decision on what system to buy: PS3 or XBOX360 Elite]

I will admit that NFS MOST WANTED was a little easy but it still had a super amount of hours of play. I’ve beat the game 3 times and have a couple of 100 hours in it.

the final boss was a challenge. I had to use the Porsche to beat him. Most of the events were easy but there was 2 for the final boss that the timing was tricky.

Even if some find the game too easy, you have factor in the games play: as good as a racer can get

I hope EA realizes that a sequel is highly wanted!

I totally agree. I got a Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition. Black Edition means more cars, more tracks, and definitely, more notorious. I played Carbon and ProStreet, and compared them with my Most Wanted. Most Wanted is still more complete compared to the two. I don’t think EA will create another Most Wanted because they focus more on graphics now…

MOST WANTED was the best NFS ever they will never make one better one of my favourite parts was the main car of the game The BMW M3 GTR it was just too cool of a car!! it was such a piss off what they did to it in carbon the said it got “totaled” (the stupid logs didnt even touch it) and then when u unlock it in the quik race they ripped off the stats of the car (mainly the top speeed) but i hope they put it back in the nexxt NFS with the same look and performence as in MOST WANTED.

Most wanted is for sure the best need for speed everything is great in the game.
carbon is alright too its fun but way less fun then most wanted.
and pro street fkin sucks really biiig disappointment..
underground series where great too better then carbon but not then most wanted
i really hope the next NFS is gonne be similar too most wanted

I really agreed with all of you for what you are talking and what you are saying about Most Wanted because its the best,who say that the Carbon or Underground series are better than Most Wanted he seriously don’t even know about the games,and he’s a casual gamer too!I want to say that im not with the guy in 8th comment when he sad – i don’t think EA will create another Most Wanted because they are focused more on graphic!I have DELL PC Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4,3 GB RAM,300 GB Hard Disc,graphic card Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB and still i cannot play NFS Most Wanted with full quality 1680X1050 but NFS Carbon i play with full quality,soooooo now you decide which one is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO nO NO
underground 2 is much much better!!!! it has MUch more customization and many more race modes.even the graphics in U2 were better. try U2 . you guys will like. even it’s storyline makes sense unlike MW. overall, MW feels like a much older game.
what;s wrong with u guys?hav u forgotten NFS’s best game out there or wat?

are you kidding ???? Whats the use with all the customization .. when you play a racing game you get the adrenaline rush from what happens during the play (drive) mode … what’s the use if you have a torino in your garage all beefed up under the hood if you don’t have a driver’s license ?? the game play with all the cops is worth a lot more fun than tweaking engines in the hide outs – MW is THE best NFS game .. U2 is probably joint second with Carbon (it depends on your personal liking) .. but MW is the best out there

guys nfs most wanted is the best game i have ever played i have been playing nfs since childhood bt mw has really amazed me i have finished the game 9 times…………i hope ea games will release a game like this in future………….or re release the same game with a different plot……..

Hey Hey Hey !!!!! there is no need to push others. Just post the name of the game u think is the best. As till now Most WAnted is leading and it should be as it is really having the best gameplay. No doubt U2 was great and has some of its own specialities. I think the list goes like this….
1. Most Wanted.
2. Underground 2
3. Carbon
4. Undercover
5. Rest of the series..

Hats Off to game developers..

I’ve heard a lot of that and from what I’ve seen, I think MW is the best.

I love Mazda 3s though and MW doesnt have them!! =(

most wanted is still the best game in the need fo speed series..
free roam,cops and plot are perfect..
there must be a sequel like most wanted 2 or anything like that..
or any game that is similar to most wanted..some gamers also consider that mw is the greatest car racing game evr.

Man, i agree, mw was ok, carbon sucks but i think u2 was a lot better, at least in customisation! u2 is all about customisation and mw is pure stret racing!

Undoubtedly that is the best MW by the effects of adrenaline and causa.Pero seems that EA games was not created such efectos.todos Berio agredecerle the creator and father of the U and non partisipo in MW.Supuestamente the creation of the other NFS .. and why the carbon until the undercover seem MW copies of infidels and non-sequels .. YEARS TO LAUNCH MW We should be playing a game WITH ALL THAT ADRENALINE ((AND ME Eager MATTER IF)) MANY MORE PARTS FOR AUTOS IN PLACES WITH “NIGHT AND DAY” and more!!!!what apent MORE ELECTRONIC ARTS !!!!!

Well,i’ve played all nfs games and i think every single game is separated from the other.personally i prefer nfs mw & i’ve finished it 10 times.but it’s not all.if u think of customization and true racing experience, pro street is the best.for graphics,definitely undercover.carbon isn’t good and mw is 100 times better than it.but in overall gameplay,graphics,enjoyment,no 1will beat mw.of course,the m3 gtr is the best car of nfs ever.
